Green Screen — Pure Green, Full Screen, No Setup

A full-screen pure #00FF00 canvas that works as a quick chroma-key backdrop for video calls, a reference for checking green subpixels and panel uniformity, or a surprisingly restful full-screen color.

How it works

  1. Pick a color

Scroll, use the arrow keys, or press W, B, R, G, or U. The whole page follows along without reloading.

  2. Go full screen

Double-click a swatch or press Enter. A pure field of color fills your entire display.

  3. Press Esc to leave

Exit full screen and you land back on this page, exactly where you left it.

Questions, answered

Can I use it as a green screen for video calls?

Yes. Point your camera at the display and balance your lighting and exposure. Screen reflections make it less even than a fabric backdrop, so avoid direct light on the panel.

What can I check with it?

Missing green subpixels, brightness and color uniformity, and banding. A flat green field is also a useful reference before calibration.

How do I enter and exit full screen?

Double-click the green swatch or press Enter to go full screen. Press Esc to exit.
